SNEAK PEEK: THE INTRODUCTION TO MY BOOK!

Hi everyone! I am SO excited that my book will be out soon! It's called Change Your Mind To Change Your Reality: How Shifting Your Thinking Can Unlock Your Health, Your Relationships, and Your Peace of Mind. To celebrate its upcoming release, I wanted to share a little sneak peek with you all: the introduction to it! I hope you enjoy!

INTRODUCTION

Imagine that you are the picture of health, love, joy, and happiness. You have a special someone in your life who is compassionate and loving and the perfect match for you. You are passionate about your work and have a paycheck that makes you feel comfortable and secure. You’re hitting all the personal and professional milestones important to you. You laugh a lot. You are surrounded by people who cheer you on, love you, and truly want the best for you. You have free time and enough money so you can pursue any hobby that sparks your soul. You hold no grudges against anyone, and you’ve released any emotions or limiting beliefs that were holding you back. You are at peace. You love your reflection in the mirror and feel confident in your own skin. Any time a challenge comes your way, you know exactly what to do to handle it with grace and ease and spin it into something positive that ends up helping you out in the long run. When you look out at the world, you see fairness, harmony, and beauty. Life is good!


Does this sound like a description of your life right now? If it does, that’s amazing and I am so happy for you. If it does not, does it sound like something you want? How about does it sound like something you think you could have? Is there a little voice in the back of your head right now, telling you, That’s impossible, no one can attain all of that, or at least not me? Maybe your mind immediately jumps to all of the ways you are lacking, not worthy, or even suffering.


If it doesn’t sound like your current life or if you’re thinking any of these thoughts, don’t worry—you’re not alone. Three out of four people report feeling lonely and disconnected, like they are just going through the motions in life and that it’s happening to them and they are not in control. These people report feeling powerless, stressed out, insecure, anxious, lonely, and/or depressed. And they look at others whom life seems to come with ease to and wonder how it is that they seem to get everything they want. Some feel like they’re stuck in a rut while others resolve to the fact that their life is just average and lacks the potential and/or opportunity to be extraordinary. Another 60 percent say they are dissatisfied with their work. I could go on and on, but the most interesting statistic of all to me is that psychologists estimate 70 to 90 percent of people’s thoughts are negative and repetitive. This book is about making the correlation between your thoughts and your current reality and teaching you how to make a shift.


For those of us who have gone through a spiritual awakening, we often describe it as a defining moment in our life. It’s like a line drawn vertically across our time line, clearly delineating two separate sides: who we were before the awakening and who we became after. For me that moment happened in 2002. I was seventeen, and a boy I was dating handed me a book called The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life that blew my mind wide open and awoke in me an intense, insatiable hunger for even more knowledge. I couldn’t get enough. My life became one big quest to learn, grow, heal, and expand every aspect of myself, a purpose that drove me onward.


I’ve collected so much knowledge from such a wide variety of sources in the twenty years since that awakening. The knowledge was seemingly unrelated, yet as I kept diving deep, patterns began to emerge and I started to realize it was all connected. Right now we are experiencing the biggest awakening humanity has had in recent history. The wave has been pulling back, rapidly moving toward an ever quickly forming swell, and each day that swell reaches greater and greater heights. Soon it will crash over, and humanity will be thrust forward in our evolution.


And so I compiled this book of everything I’ve learned, of the teachers I’ve studied who lit the pathway. It is the culmination of two decades of study and practice. I give you a shortcut to what took me twenty years to learn, so that you can live your dream life now and enjoy all the pleasure and joy that come with it. You can view it as classroom notes for this experience we call life.


This book is my gift to the world, and I have poured my whole heart into it. There are lots of books out there on the Law of Attraction, healing, forgiveness, and how your thoughts influence your life, and you will find I’ve referenced many throughout this book as well. But this book is different because I synthesize material from various teachings and take you so far beyond these concepts. I show you how to change your mind in every corner of your life and ask you to consider possibilities that may seem foreign to you at first.


My hope is to empower everyone who picks up this book. I want you to be able to turn the final page feeling energized and confident. I want your mind to be expanded and the way in which you view the world forever changed. I want you to know that you are in control of what happens in your life and your lens alone dictates your reaction and how you perceive it. I want you to let go of grudges, find meaning and purpose, and get everything your heart desires, whether it be that perfect relationship, the promotion you’ve been wanting, the healing you’ve been working toward, or the courage to follow your dreams. I want you to find ways to show yourself love and take care of yourself, so you can then be the best version of yourself for yourself and your friends, family, community, and the world. I want you to understand that you are more than a body, you are more than a mind, and what you see through your eyes when you look out into the world isn’t the whole picture. I want you to see the beauty around you, everywhere, and know that it is radiating directly from you.


And the best part is that I’m not going to do any of these things for you—you have the power inside of you to do them all. It all comes from you. I just offer you a road map. So come discover how a simple change in perspective can completely change the life you are living.

Kris Ashley is a coach, speaker, yoga teacher, and author of the upcoming book Change Your Mind To Change Your Reality: How Shifting Your Thinking Can Unlock Your Health, Your Relationships, and Your Peace of Mind.

She was introduced to the Law of Attraction nearly two decades ago and has lived by its principals ever since. She has re-trained her unconscious brain and manifested everything from her husband, to jobs, to recovery from illness into existence.

After undergoing trauma in her early life, she experienced a spiritual awakening in 2002 and since then has devoted her life to healing, learning, and bettering herself - emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. It became her life’s mission, a purpose that drove her onward.

Kris’ programs are the culmination of 20 years of study and practice and proven results. Drawing from an infinite number of teachers and traditions, as well as her own experience, she brings all of her knowledge to her clients to help them manifest their dreams into reality. She excels in helping clients to sharpen their vision, identify areas where they may be stuck, and break through old thought patterns in order to unlock the free flowing potential that is inside us all. Kris loves helping her clients step into their own power and live a life they truly love living.
